Thank you for your enquiry regarding venue hire at The Prince of Wales, Hoath (Kent) for your party. Please find a brief outline of what we can offer, along with a summary of our hire costs:
For parties and larger events, we can offer exclusive hire of the whole pub, including full use of the garden, for approximately 4–5 hours at a cost of £500.
Should you wish to extend beyond the initial 4-5 hour hire period, we charge a flat rate of £150 per additional hour for continued exclusive use of the pub and garden.
We can also cater for smaller functions and gatherings such as birthdays, baby showers, christenings, graduations, or informal celebrations within our restaurant, private dining space, garden, or garden terrace, without the need to hire the full venue.

For parties and functions, we offer a range of food and seating options depending on your group size and style of event:
Buffet
We can provide a buffet for up to 80 guests inside, or up to 100 guests in our garden, with food served on the terrace.
Buffets start from £15 per head, and you can customise the menu to suit your event.
Sit-Down Meal
We can offer a 3-course sit-down meal at £40 per head in our restaurant area.
Our restaurant seats up to 45 guests, with additional seating available in the bar area for a further 24 guests, if required.
For larger events, we can also look at hiring a garden marquee for up to 100 guests, with access to our garden bar.
Smaller Functions
For smaller gatherings, we can accommodate you in our restaurant, private dining area, garden terrace, or garden, depending on availability and the style of your event.
Personalised Quotes
If you would prefer not to hire the whole venue, we can provide a personalised quote based on your guest numbers, preferred area, and food options.
With regards to the supply of drinks, we can provide several options:
Please Note: Due to our licence, guests are unable to bring their own drinks onto the premises and must purchase drinks from our premises.
Should you wish to have live music, we can arrange for a musician, DJ or band to perform at the venue at additional cost.
Please Note: Due to our licence, live music can be played up until 10pm on weekdays and up to 11pm on Fridays & Saturdays.
We can supply balloons and banners for the event at an extra cost.
Should you wish not to use our services, you are more than welcome to make your own arrangements to decorate the venue yourself on the day, at your own cost.
We have a small car park that can accommodate up to 8 cars.
If our car park is full there is on street parking around the pub, but we ask guests to be considerate of our neighbours when parking.
Due to the parking, we recommend that guests to consider either car sharing or using a taxi service to get to the pub.
Should you wish to use a taxi service, we recommend the following firms Herne Cars or Longleys.
If you are wanting to book with us, we need at least 2 months’ notice and a deposit of £250.00 to secure your booking.

We can supply balloons, banners and table cloths at additional cost. Alternatively, you are welcome to decorate the venue to your liking, at your own cost.
