The kitchen is open from the following times:
Tuesday to Saturday
Lunchtime: 12pm to 3pm (Last Orders 2:30pm)
Evening: 5:30pm to 9pm (Last Orders 8:30pm)
Sunday
Afternoons: 12pm to 5pm (Last Orders: 4:30pm)
Please note: during quieter times, we may close earlier than planned in the evenings. So please give us a call if you decide to come, so as to avoid disappointment.
The pub has a disabled parking space at the rear and has ramps into the pub. We also have an open planned restaurant with access to a disabled toilet.
We can cater for all types of diets and most menus state the ingredients. We also include standard labels like Gluten Free, Vegan and Vegetarian on our menus.
If you have a particular allergy or requirement, please let our staff know when ordering food or placing a pre-order.
We offer table service inside our restaurant & bar for our guests, so on arrival please find a table or ask a member staff for assistance on where you can sit. For outside orders, we ask our guests to order at the bar.
Please Note: We are a small kitchen team, and everything is freshly prepared. Please allow us time to prepare your food for your enjoyment.
We have a wide range of drinks including tea, coffee, soft drinks and 0% alcoholic drinks too.
You can now book a table via our ResDiary system on the top right of this page. This allows you to reserve a table that meets your party’s needs.
If you wish not to use our online system, you can contact us via our booking line.
You can book directly with ResDiary on our website and add additional information about your booking. We will decorate the table in advance of your arrival, or you can arrive early to decorate it to your liking.
You are also welcome to bring a cake or present where you can leave it with our front of house staff. We do not charge a cake or storage fee.
Yes, you can hire our pub or garden (with or without marquee) for a set fee. We can also supply food and drinks to any requirement including dietary needs. Please contact us via email hello@theprinceofwales.co.uk for further information.
We don’t charge a service fee for tables under 12 people. We are in the process of setting a new system where a table is larger than 12 people, an additional 10% service fee will be added to the bill.
We have made changes to our booking policy recently, due to guests not showing up. We no longer take a deposit but under the new booking system, you will be asked for your card details, which will be held by our third-party provider, ResDiary / Stripe Pay. Should a table not show up, then they will be charged accordingly to the terms agreed on the ResDairy system (full details are available on their website), when making a booking. Further details are available when making a booking.
We do sell gift cards of values from £10, £20, £50 & £100. These can be purchased from our bar area. Terms and conditions for gift cards can be found on the back.
The pub usually plays host to musicians, entertainers, and quizzes. Please check out our News page or social media.
We are always open to new acts or bands to perform at our pub. Please contact hello@theprinceofwales.co.uk with details of your band and a sample of your act or music. Please note that our events diary fills up quickly around December & January for the year ahead.
We have teamed up with Herne Cars as a taxi partner. If you contact them and say you’re at the Prince of Wales Hoath, they will make a priority booking for you. Please see their website for more details. (This is a 3rd party service, and we cannot be held responsible for any bookings or changes to their policies).

We are sorry that your experience with us was not to an acceptable standard, and we always do our best to make every guest feel at home & happy.
