
What a week we have at The Prince of Wales in Kent with Burns Night on Saturday!
Not only that, Chef Scott absolutely loves creating spectacular new dishes for you Kent foodies and this week is no different!
As a reminder, our Specials Menu is available Wednesday to Saturday every week with booking recommended due to the popularity of Chef’s choices.
So without further ado, here’s this week’s Specials Menu for Wednesday 22nd January to Saturday 25th January 2025.
- Pan roasted sea bass fillets, Saffron potatoes, Tenderstem broccoli, Lemon, Caper and Dill sauce
- Honey garlic chicken, Turmeric rice, Sauteed Pak Choi with chilli
- Pie of the Day: Chicken and Mushroom
- Soup of the Day: Roasted sweet potato and butternut squash
Now onto Burns Night, which takes places this Saturday Night!
For those that don’t know, Burns Night is Scotland’s second national day – just after St. Andrew’s Day – and celebrates the life and legacy of Scotland’s National Bard, Robert Burns.
With that, we have a special Burns Night menu – traditional Scottish Burns supper with three courses and a complementary whisky to toast the evening.
Starter
Scotch Brotch – a warming soup made from pearl barley, lamb, a selection of vegetables and sourdough
Main
Haggis Neeps and Tatties – a rich crumbly mix of sheep offal, spices and oats with buttered swede and mash potatoes
Dessert
Cranachan – a traditional Scottish dessert made with raspberries, toasted oats and layered with whisky and honey flavoured cream
